Expert rehabilitation delivered where life happens—in your home.
I don’t just see a patient number; I see a whole person. My practice is built on the belief that you should always feel seen, heard, and respected. Your personal beliefs and values are at the forefront of your care, and I am committed to partnering with you to reach your goals.
I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St. Catherine University in 2009. Afterward, I pursued advanced training, completing a Neuro Residency and achieving Board Certification in Neurologic Physical Therapy (NCS) in 2011. Through years of hands-on experience in hospital (acute and subacute) rehabs, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics and over a decade focused on home care, I’ve mastered the full spectrum of PT.
Over 25 years ago, I began with early certifications as an EMT-B, a CPR instructor, and a Nursing Assistant. I got interested in the rehab world after a rehab apprenticeship. Those early years taught me the most valuable lesson in medicine: to heal the body, you must first understand the life of the person living in it.
I have dedicated my career to learning. I go beyond the required continuing education hours to extend my knowledge to ensure that my diagnostic skills are as sharp as my empathy.
The Home-Life Integration Model: Movement Reimagined
My approach is profoundly shaped by my own journey navigating the medical system—from delayed EDS and Endometriosis diagnoses to the complexities of postpartum and perimenopause. Having been the patient searching for answers, I’ve built a practice that treats you as a whole human, not a diagnosis.
We solve the puzzle of your health through Three Pillars of Movement:
Deep Understanding: I listen to your story and observe you in your actual environment, integrating the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of your life.
Strategic, Creative Programs: We move past "cookie-cutter" packets. By challenging what is "normal"—because pain and falling are not just parts of aging—we use a blend of corrective exercises and real-life activities for rapid recovery.
Knowledge as Power: You won’t just follow instructions. You will finish our sessions with a clear explanation of the why behind your movement, empowering you to succeed long after our time together.
I live the movement-focused life I champion. I am an avid adventurer who loves rock climbing, skiing, and biking. When I'm not pursuing an athletic goal, you can find me baking, camping, traveling across five continents (preferring trips where I can fully immerse myself in the local culture), or enjoying time with my kids. These passions fuel my commitment to helping you maintain your own independence and sense of adventure.
