Conditions like Parkinson’s, MS, Stroke, Amputation, SCI, or TBI don’t just affect your body; they change how you navigate the world.
How My Approach is Different:
Not all therapy is created equal, especially when it comes to the brain. I completed a formal PT Residency and was Board Certified in Neurology, which means I’ve spent years mastering the specific challenges that come with complex conditions. My approach is built on neuroplasticity—the incredible way your brain can rewire and reorganize itself when given the right input.
For neurological conditions, the environment is everything. Instead of doing repetitive exercises in a clinic, we practice functional tasks right in your own home. We work on coordination, your gait, and your independence in the exact place where it matters most. Practicing a "step-up" on a gym box is one thing; practicing how to navigate your specific rug-to-tile transition or your narrow bathroom doorway is where real independence is won.
I understand the "heavy lifting" that comes with these diagnoses, and I’m equipped to help you manage the things that often get overlooked:
Tone & Spasticity Management: Finding ways to help your muscles relax and work for you.
Adaptive Gear & Bracing: Getting you the right tools (and making sure they actually fit your life).
Cognition: Addressing memory and learning.
Incontinence: Bowel and bladder health with zero judgment.
Neurological recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. You deserve a therapist who has the specialized skills to handle the complexity, and has the realistic perspective to make every session count.
