Mothers who have cleared their initial medical checks, but haven't returned to their baseline strength or function, even years later.
From pregnancy and postpartum to perimenopause and beyond, women’s bodies go through massive transformations. But let’s be real: while the transformation is magnificent, the recovery isn't always magical.
I’m here to say what often goes unsaid: It is NOT normal to live with things like diastasis recti, prolapse, incontinence, or chronic joint pain years after having a baby—even if everyone tells you "it’s just part of being a mom."
Why I’m So Passionate About This: I don’t just know this because I’m a PT; I know it because I’ve been there. I’ve navigated the dismissive medical system firsthand (my own doctor literally laughed when I asked for postpartum PT!). In many countries, this care is routine—here, you have to fight for it. I’m here to fight with you.
Pelvic health isn't just about one muscle; it’s about how your whole body works together. We look at the big picture: how your breathing, posture, and pressure management affect your core and pelvic floor.
My approach is about making the most of your limited self-care time:
Education & Training: We tackle breathing and stability to fix the root cause of issues like leaking or "mom-pooch."
Total Body Reset: We aren't just looking for a quick fix today. We’re setting your body up so you’re still moving strong and confident in your 80s.
Functional & Flexible: If you’re newly postpartum, your baby is always welcome. We can use feeding time for posture work or find ways to incorporate your child into your exercises. We make the "workout" fit your actual life.
A Note on My Approach: I focus on external, whole-body strategies to restore pelvic health. By adjusting your alignment and movement patterns, we can solve complex issues without the need for internal exams, but I may refer you to a Pelvic Floor PT if necessary.
Newly Postpartum women must be cleared by an MD to return to activity (usually 6 weeks post-vaginal birth or 8 weeks post-cesarean).
